We have big news!!
If you haven't noticed already, we have not been out and around the blogosphere as much lately. The reason is that we are both pregnant and SICK! Kelli is 17 weeks and Natalie is 7 weeks along (and no we did not plan on us both being pregnant at the same time). We are both really excited about our new babies (Kelli's first and Natalie's third) but things have been tough for both of us lately. Don't even say it... "Natalie number three, none in school, blah, blah, blah" ... Our motto "Keep having them until you get one you don't like or until your hair falls out"... but really, I am SUPER excited about my love baby :)
Unfortunately, blogging and personal relationships (Natalie isn't really sure what her kids have eaten for dinner for the past few weeks) have taken a backseat to the essentials of: barely making it through each day, eating high-fat, high-carbohydrate foods to keep the nausea at bay (never mind the fact that we are dietitians and supposed to be the paragon of healthy eating), and laying around with a heating pad on your aching back (Kelli).
If you are one of those women who glow and sparkle when you are pregnant... good for you, really... Natalie is barely available for public view but Kelli looks cute.

So, if you've been writing on our blog, and we haven't visited you in return, please excuse our rudeness. We so appreciate each and every visitor and comment, and we hope to be back in full blogging force soon! Our main goal right now is to keep a steady flow of book reviews and share any news that comes our way.
Congratulations to you both!

ReplyDeleteCongrats to you both! Nope, I was never one of those glow and sparkle pregnant ladies either. LOL. My feet grew an extra size and my nose spread across my face. After delivery, the nose went back to normal but not my feet.
ReplyDeleteThat's terrific news. Congrats to both of you. :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to you both!! How exciting! Especially to be pregnant together :) My BFF and I were pregnant at the same time twice (not planned). Our first babies are 3 weeks apart and our second babies are 6 weeks apart.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations to you both. You don't happen to share a computer chair? Only I read about this supermarket where all of its female (obviously) staff became pregnant after sitting in the same seat at the checkout. Don't laugh, its true.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations ladies!!! I am so excited for both of you and I wish you easy and pain-free months ahead :)
ReplyDeleteOooh, congrats ladies! I thought you two had been kinda quiet! ;-) Hope everything goes well for you both! x

ReplyDeleteAnd, no I never glowed when pg. Ever.
You both know I'm just so happy for you! In fact, I wish I could join the club. LOL!
ReplyDeleteBut wait, does this mean that soon your blog will be called, I so rather be sleeping? I've heard all those late night bottle feedings are draining but totally worth it. ;)
Congrats again!
OMG I thought it was only Kelli! CONGRATS Natalie!
ReplyDeleteWhoever said it was morning sickness was completely WRONG! With my first I was sick 6 months straight... I lost weight when I should have been gaining! But overall it passed and I ate my way through a kingdom of chicken ;)
Congrats to both of my fave blogger gals :)
Wow, Congrats to both of you!

ReplyDeleteHey fantastic!!! So exciting.
ReplyDeleteI've also been a bit MIA recently but not for such exciting reasons LOL. That does explain why I have only just seen your announcement though & I wanted to say a massive congratulations to you both!!! I hope you both get to the glowing stage soon (I have no idea when that happens as I've never been pregnant but hopefully you won't have too long to wait) and that you're both already feeling much better :o)
