It's time for the Blog Hop, hosted by Jennifer at Crazy For Books.
This week's Blog Hop question is:
How many books do you have on your "to be read" shelf?
Well, Jennifer, since you asked, I have about 20 books on my actual bookshelf at home, but I have 139 books on my To-Read shelf over at Goodreads. I love using Goodreads because it helps me keep track of my books! I start to get really nervous if I have less than 5 books in my possession that I really want to read. I like keeping a safety net of about 10 books on hand at all times. Yes, I know I have issues.
Have a great weekend everyone! Don't forget to sign up for our best t-shirt giveaway yet, "Fictional MEN Never Let You Down!" Giveaway ends August 31st!
Hopping through. I should use Goodreads for a TBR list. I often use my library's hold list as my de facto TBR - since I just put everything on hold.

Stopping by on the Hop! Now a new follower and I've GOT to sign up for that shirt give-away!
ReplyDeleteHi, Kelli!
ReplyDeleteJust hopping by! I'm already a follower of your blog.
Yup, Goodreads helps a lot in managing our books. Especially those to be read so we can track them. :D
Cheers!

No, no, no, that's not issues, that is being prepared. Running out of books is seriously a horrible thought! You can never have too many books in my opinion. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHere is my hop:
A Book Obsession..
Um...I would be very embarrassed to admit the amount of books currently in my house that are still waiting to be read...it's shameful!
ReplyDeleteHi there!

I have way too many books on my shelf... over 50 plus... trying to not think about them. :)
ReplyDeletehave a great weekend Kelli!

Lol I know what you mean about having a safety net. I start carrying round my next book when I get about 3/4 of the way through my current read in case I'm suddenly stranded somewhere without book.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
A Trillian Books
159 isn't bad at all. Very doable. I have a Goodreads account, but don't track my TBR books there. I do track the books I've read though.
ReplyDeleteHi Kelli,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog today! I'm your newest follower on twitter.

Hey Kelli!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by Mindful Musings!
I WISH I only had 20 books on my shelf that needed reading. Right now, I think I'm at 138. Oops!
Have a great weekend! :)
Hello! Thanks for stopping by my blog! =) I am now following you! I agree with you about having a safety net of books. If my TBR pile is low, I freak out and go crazy buying books to replenish!

Hello girls! Just dropping in via the hop!! Having a safety net when it comes to books is a great idea. I mean I never know what I'll be in the mood for next. It's always nice to have many to choose from. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend and I hope you find tons of time to reat!
My TBR pile is absolutely pathetic... I am pretty sure I have more TBR than marked as read on my goodreads :(
ReplyDeleteKelli we are Yin and Yang... lol
Returning the hop - Thanks for stopping by Page Turners.

Just returning the favor and stopping by. I love the format of your blog. I don't recall seeing too many dual reviews the way you've posted. Very original. I'm trying to get my 17 yr old niece to contribute to mine--to add that teen perspective. We read the same books, so it would be a blast to compare online. Consider me a new follower: you've got good taste in books. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi! thanks for visiting my blog! I’m a new follower of your blog! I have close to 200 books on my shelf!
ReplyDeleteCome and say hi!

ReplyDeleteOh! You have such a pretty blog!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm with you, I like to have lots of books in my TBR pile, it might daunt me from time to time but I like to have all those wonderful books to read, it's comforting.
Cute Blog! Thanks for stopping by mine. Have a great weekend!
